Welcome to the International Anthropomorphics Festival (or Le Festival International de L'Anthropomorphisme)! More affectionately known as "Anthrofest"
Anthrofest was born in mid 2005, as an alternative (and possible future supplement!) to the "large crowd" conventions that have been dominating the fandom for some time now. It also was conceptualised when a convention near the current location of Anthrofest, limited it's 'furry' programming track.
A small group of friends set out to create a convention with the aim to attract members of the fandom towards the programming, primarily, along with the entertainment track (nightly themed dances, etc.)
Most con-goers have been known to say they prefer smaller conventions, where things are more personal, and easier to navigate. And that's why we're here. We hope you enjoy navigating our website, and hope to see you at Anthrofest, in 2007!
